The Analyze.FieldWiz platform is acquired by ACPA Performance and becomes NabuTrack

développement analyze.FieldWiz

Following Insiders’ change of strategy and its desire to focus more on B2B by dealing directly with specialist platforms, the 10-years old visualization platform Analyze.FieldWiz had ceased to evolve in recent years.

In order to better meet our users’ expectations in terms of sports performance analysis, we have decided to entrust the development and management of Analyze.FieldWiz to ACPA Performance, a recognised specialist in innovative solutions for sports performance.

Founded in 2018, ACPA Performance’s mission is to democratize field tools that were once reserved for elite users, by making them accessible, practical, and transferable to all performance stakeholders: physical trainers, coaches, clubs, federations, and retailers.

Thanks to this development:

  • Users will benefit from a secure, stable and sustainable platform
  • Innovative new features based on their feedback
  • They will have access to certified training courses and practical tutorials
  • Enhanced, personalised support

Julien Moix, CEO of Insiders:

This is an important milestone for us. I still remember drawing the first models of the platform 10 years ago… We can be proud of the platform we have developed, which is still used by several hundreds of teams in 40+ countries. Today, our global strategy is forcing us to part ways with it, and we’re delighted that this is in the hands of ACPA Performance, a company specialising in sport science. This will enable existing users to benefit from their expertise and continue to develop their teams.

The Analyze.FieldWiz platform will be seamlessly transferred and ACPA Performance will take over with the NabuTrack platform, in order to offer the best possible service to users and keep developing the platform, always based on the needs of users and the field.

Partnership announcement: INEOS Grenadiers chose Insiders as Official Technology Supplier

In 2023, Insiders partners with INEOS Grenadiers and opens its doors to individual outdoor sports.

After having been, in 2018, the first electronic sensor certified by FIFA for official matches and having seen its products used by 10 medalists of the Swiss Olympic team since then, this year Insiders will provide equipment for the famous cycling team

INEOS Grenadiers, who chose Insiders as Official Technology Supplier, has an unmatched record of Grand Tour success and has now chosen Insiders to help track and measure its rider and system performance.

INEOS Grenadiers’ Deputy Team Principal, Rod Ellingworth said: “We’re pleased to be working with insiders, as we continue to understand and maximise our race performance. We’ve seen the importance of time trialling increase over the past few years – Grand Tours can be won and lost on a TT stage. Insiders will help us optimise the multiple data inputs we track to make sure our riders translate those numbers into performance on the road.

Insiders launch: here are the 5 information you should remember

Last week, Insiders came to life: a new look but also new ambitions for the company. 150 guests from all over the world gathered at the Olympic Museum to celebrate the past but also the future of Insiders. The event also showed the evolution of the company by presenting new projects and products. For you, we have summarized the 5 most important information to remember:

1.     Advanced Sport Instruments is now Insiders

Insiders was born out of a desire to modernize the brand and address outdoor sports by providing more accurate tracking and performance measurement solutions for football, cycling, triathlon, skiing, biathlon, field hockey, running and more.

« The new Insiders identity is symbolic of our position at the cutting-edge of the sports data experience delivering actionable data to push sport participation and engagement in a fast-transforming world. »

2.   The company is working on new developments, including improvements to some of its sensor features, its own fan engagement platform and projects with virtual reality

The team is currently working on the new Insiders platform. The goal of this platform is to enable second-screen fan engagement applications, broadcast interfaces, VR solutions and much more.

The platform will work with the precise data captured by our sensors and thanks to our algorithms, the aggregated data will be displayed on the platform in near real time as well as in replay.

Another feature we are working on that will mark a big step in the world of sports technology is the ability to have an immersive experience of the athlete’s eyes in real time and at a distance through virtual reality. This will go with the improvement of some features of the sensor to make it more suitable for endurance sports.  Stay tuned…

3.     INEOS-Grenadiers Cycling Team, Super League Triathlon and FIFA will be one of the big projects of Insiders in 2023

This year Insiders will provide equipment for the famous INEOS-Grenadiers cycling team. The team has an unmatched record of Grand Tour success and has now chosen Insiders to help track and measure its rider and system performance.

Other important news includes a partnership with the Super League Triathlon (SLT) to develop second-screen broadcasting and engagement, a project for which Insiders will equip 100% of the Giro d’Italia peloton in 2023.

Finally, for the second time, Insiders will partner with FIFA to provide its technologies to The Innovation Hub in China.

4.     A new CEO onboard!

The event was the perfect opportunity to introduce the newly appointed CEO Julie Royer who is joining Insiders from The IRONMAN Group.
« I’m delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting time, I see my role as an enhancer of the current dynamic and providing a solid governance to support the growth and celebrate the successes. Building on the current solutions, our aim is to develop our very own platform where tracking mixed with enriched data leads to an immersive experience for viewers and fans. Our ambition is to equip 1200 races and 1m athletes by 2027. »

5.     Capital investment: it is still time to be part of the journey

Following our successful round in 2022, (with lead investor MICA Ventures), we are opening up an additional round to accelerate the Insiders success story, convert our current pipeline, deploy the new endurance outdoor solution and bring Insiders VR solutions to market. If you want to be part of the Insiders journey, get in touch!

Interview: Lionel Yersin and Julien Moix talk about Insiders.

Interview: Lionel Yersin and Julien Moix talk about Insiders.

Interview: Lionel Yersin and Julien Moix explain us what is Insiders.

Lionel Yersin and Julien Moix founded ASI (Advanced Sport Instruments) in 2012 from a passion of sports and technology. In 2018, their product FieldWiz became the first wearable to be certified by FIFA for official matches. Last year there were 10 users of ASI sensors among the medal winners of the Swiss Olympic team. Their goal has always been to improve their products again and again in order to better support the teams and athletes in their success. Today, with Insiders, they want to become the reference performance sparring-partner to push sport participation and engagement in this fast-transforming world

For you, what is Insiders all about?

With Insiders, we wanted a brand that better illustrated our vision of actionable tracking data in sports and beyond (eHealth, eSafety…).

We like to summarize that Insiders brings you information that you and others don’t have, to give you a competitive advantage. It also reflects our evolution towards mixed reality or new projects to bridge the gap between virtual and reality.

What do you want to achieve with Insiders?

We are ambitious and we will push Insiders as far as we can. The aim is that Insiders becomes the reference performance sparring-partner delivering actionable data to push sport participation and engagement in a fast-transforming world.

Insiders’ brand identity had to live up to the reputation of our clients, and so this new brand is also a statement for us to become not only the best solution, but a renowned brand to support our mission.

What are the next big steps?

This year will mark the entry in major endurance sport events as well as the realization of the convergence of performance data and fan-engagement with amazing projects in the pipeline. We are also working hard to bring elite solutions to the mass with innovative business model.

We can also name the launch of initiatives with virtual reality. We see the close future with bridges between the real world and the metaverse. We believe we are well positioned for this shift.

We are fortunate that in what we do, sky is the limit. On the opposite, we don’t have endless resources, so we have to go step-by-step.

What can we expect from the 2023 year?

In addition to a new brand and important partnership announcements, be prepared to hear from us.
In the coming months we will be delivering our solutions to customers such as INEOS-Grenadier to improve aerodynamic performances, or Super League Triathlon (SLT) and Velon to develop fan-engagement solutions with live data for the second screen and broadcaster.

We’ve been watching the stages of professional races on TV for years now and to see the data we’ve provided being broadcast would be a great testament to our achievements so far.

Stay tuned, we are only at the beginning of an amazing journey.
